Default Dangerous Power Issues

Not a blast thread, seems problem resource threads may be helpful for future referance to those shooting DP markers. Post breakages, stopages, remedies, settings, and pics of such things to help keep their DP guns running.

I have a threshold and very rarely it will shoot little puffs of air and not shoot a ball. At first I was really angry that I couldn't figure out what was wrong and started to dislike the gun. The problem was that there was an air build up or something in the bolt and all I had to do was to unscrew the bolt and release the air. Other than that minor issue with a quick fix, great gun.

Cool. Thanks for the issue and fix. Now I want to ask Threshold shooters I know if they had the same issue.

I've seen a few whose regs have a problem of creeping up in pressure to unsafe velocities. One guys was shooting 450fps at our field. I asked the tech what was causing this and he said that there is a small plastic piece inside of the reg that tends to either deform or break and this prevents the correct regulation of the high air pressure causing the velocity to go up with the pressure. The only fix is to order a replacement from DP, but most recommend to just upgrade to another more reliable regulator.

Funny, we saw this too. So far the reg seems to be the only negative part we've seen with the G3's.

More than likely. They have the same reg, just special anodized colors.
